Married in 1988, Dr. Lotenfoe and his wife Sandra have two beautiful daughters, Alex and Xue-Ling. In his spare time Dr. Lotenfoe likes to spend time with his family at the beach. He also enjoys bike riding, ballroom dancing and traveling. After completing residency, Dr. Lotenfoe seemed geared towards an academic career, but instead decided to fulfill his government obligations. Subsequently he spent several years practicing in underserved areas. Even after his obligations were fulfilled he continued his private practice in underserved areas until he made his move to Celebration. Throughout his time in private practice, Dr. Lotenfoe has been at the forefront of technological advances: he was one of the first urologists to start performing prostate seed implants in Central Florida, he was one of the first urologist to start Interstim therapy in Central Florida, he was the first urologist to start the Greenlight laser procedure in Central Florida. Being a preceptor for the Greenlight procedure, he remains one the most experienced ones performing the treatment. He is also the first urologist in his area to perform HIFU.
